Supporting Ronald McDonald Cooking for Families

Once again, we were delighted to take part in Ronald McDonald (RMHC) Cooking for families. A team of seven from PJ Hegarty stepped into the kitchen to prepare a homemade meal for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

RMHC is a local charity that provides support and care for the families of children that are ill. The house provides a place to stay and call home during what can be a incredibly difficult time. To sign up to the Cooking for Families programme or to donate go to: www.rmhc.ie

Biodiversity Webinar

To kick off National Biodiversity Week 2024, we held a webinar hosted by Professor Jane Stout, Vice President for Biodiversity and Climate Action at Trinity College Dublin.

During the webinar, Professor Stout shared valuable information about biodiversity loss and its drivers, as well as insights on how we can positively impact local and national biodiversity.

National Biodiversity Week is about connecting us with nature, communicating the importance of biodiversity and providing motivation to play our part in protecting it. Learn more at www.biodiversityweek.ie

Ronald McDonald Cooking for Families

Our team of eight volunteers participated in the RMHC Ireland Cooking for Families programme yesterday! The team rolled up their sleeves and cooked up a storm to bring some home-cooked comfort to families staying in the Ronald McDonald House in Crumlin.

Ronald McDonald House Charities support families whose children are seriously ill in hospital and the house provides accommodation and a caring and supportive environment. To sign up to the Cooking for Families programme or to donate to this worth cause, go to www.rmhc.ie
