Centenary Spinathon Challenge

On Wednesday, June 18th, eight PJ Hegarty sites across Ireland took part in our Centenary Spinathon Challenge.

The three-hour event saw four sites from both the Eastern and Southern regions go head to head, in support of two incredible causes.

The Southern Region spun for the Cork University Hospital Neonatal Unit, while the Eastern Region cycled for ASIAM, Ireland’s autism charity.

To keep the energy high, a live leader board tracked the progress of each site in real time, sparking some healthy rivalry as teams raced to rack up the kilometres. For every kilometre cycled, PJ Hegarty donated €10 to each region’s chosen charity. This along with the bragging rights gave the teams an extra push.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and supported this fantastic initiative!

Genevie Rose and Barry Casey presented the funds raised from the Southern Region Spinathon to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Cork University Hospital.

They were joined by members of the Neonatal Unit, including Midwife Miriam Casey, NICU Manager Grainne McNabola, and Consultant Dr. Mmoloki Kenosi, to officially hand over the donation.

Dublin celebrates 100 Years of PJ Hegarty

On Thursday, May 15th, we had the pleasure of welcoming clients, partners, and friends to the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin to celebrate a major milestone, 100 wonderful years in business.

It was a special evening reflecting on our journey, the achievements we’ve shared, and the incredible people who have supported us along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to all who have been part of our story over the years. Here’s to the next chapter!

Building Partnerships Since 1925

Established in 1925, PJ Hegarty boasts a proud heritage.

Our enduring legacy spanning a century reflects our dedication to delivering top-tier projects across Ireland and the UK.

Celebrating 100 Years of Building Partnerships

This year, we celebrate a century of shaping skylines, creating spaces, and building a brighter future. Established in 1925, we’ve grown to become Ireland’s most progressive building company, delivering exceptional projects across Ireland and the UK from our offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and London.

Our purpose has been unwavering: to build safe, sustainable, and innovative structures that leave a positive impact. Our success has changed the skylines with world-class structures. But we’ve built more than structures — we’ve built trust, communities, and a legacy of excellence.

As we honour our past, we’re looking toward the future — innovating, growing, and continuing to safely meet the needs of our clients and partners. While reflecting on the many transformations of the past century, we also look to our future — a future that embraces diversity, champions sustainability, and places innovation at its core.

Here’s to the next 100 years of building partnerships!
